Don't move a mussel - keep Okanagan waters zebra mussel free

Please find below an invitation to an important webinar we are hosting next Wednesday, June 19 , 10AM - NOON,  regarding the threat of invasive zebra and quagga mussels to Okanagan waters and plans to prevent them from coming here.

Invited participants include:
-          Okanagan water-related stewardship groups (fish and game clubs, etc.)
-          Water-related recreation groups (e.g. boating clubs, sailing clubs, yacht clubs, etc.)
-          Tourism operators
-          Realtors
-          Elected officials and community leaders
-          Media

All are welcome.  PLEASE SHARE THIS WIDELY!

The Okanagan Basin Water Board is working very closely with local aquatic biologist Heather Larratt, the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC), the Okanagan and Similkameen Invasive Species Society (OASSIS) and several others to deliver a coordinated response.  This webinar will include presentations from Ms. Larratt, as well as the Water Board and other partners.

Following presentations, there will be an opportunity for questions.
