KAMLOOPS - A man has been caught on surveillance video stealing a bike from the downtown Kamloops area and Crime Stoppers needs your help finding him.

The suspect took his time to cut the lock off of the bike and then rode away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, according to Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers.

He's described as Caucasian, mid 30s, short dark hair with a goatee and a thick, black beard. At the time he was wearing a green "DC" hat, a white "Ruffen" t-shirt and grey shorts.

Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers believe this is not the man's first time stealing a bicycle.

The bike is described as a white Kona and it can be easily identified by the owners.

If you know who this man is or have any information on the theft, you're asked to call Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers at 1 800-222-8477.
