KELOWNA – Almost 48 hours after a Kelowna convenience store was robbed, RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect.
Police were called to the Mac’s at 2147 Richter St. around 2:49 p.m., Tuesday, May 12 following the report of an armed robbery.
RCMP say in a release that a man walked into the store with a handkerchief over his face, produced a weapon and demanded money.
He took off on foot with some cash. No one was hurt.
No word from the RCMP on the kind of weapon used in the holdup.
Police described the suspect as short, about 5’3” with brown eyes and hair. He was wearing dark shorts and a dark hoodie with white lettering.
