KELOWNA – Aaron Charles Derbyshire was out with his friends at a nightclub on Leon Avenue in 2006. His friends stepped outside the Level Nightclub around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 but the 22-year-old stayed behind and he hasn’t been seen since.

This week is the 11th anniversary of his disappearance, and his family want the public to know they are not giving up.

“We know there's people out there today that know exactly what has happened to him and where he is,” his mother Glenda Derbyshire said at a 2013 press conference.

Aaron was born on May 13, 1984. He is 5’10” tall, 160 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark button up shirt, possibly plaid, and dark jeans.

A media release from Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers is once again asking the public for tips in the active investigation.

Crime Stoppers says no matter how small a piece of information may seem it could end up being important when added to what is already known by investigators.

If you or someone you know saw Derbyshire around the time of his disappearance, call the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a web tip through www.crimestoppers.net. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and could lead to a reward of up to $2,000.
