KELOWNA – A Kelowna man is offering a $5,000 reward for information that reunites him with his cherished and unique three-wheeled motorcycle that was stolen over the weekend.
Ron Berthelette bought the customized Boss Hoss trike from Texas ten years ago. He says it’s one-of-a-kind, due to it’s custom paint and rear section designed to look like a ’57 Chevy.
“It’s certainly a unique bike,” he says.
The motorcycle, which has a Chevy V8 engine, went missing from his Belgo Road home Sunday night sometime between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
“I’m just very sad that some idiot took it,” he says. “You certainly can’t insure it or anything like that.”
The bike was stored in an enclosed 7’x14’ Pace American white trailer, which was also taken.
The trailer has a licence plate number 59558D and the bike has plate number S28735.
He’s offering a $5,000 reward for information that brings the bike home. He asks tips be sent to RCMP or to his personal cell at 250-212-2921.
