VERNON - Creative Chaos gets underway in Vernon at the end of the week.

The annual event, which is celebrating its 41st anniversary, draws crowds from across the region.

Starting Friday, June 3 and running all weekend, the event will feature more than 200 artisans from across B.C. and Canada. Live entertainment and food vendors are also included in the three-day event.

The craft show will be held as usual at the Vernon Recreation Centre. The public is reminded that renovations are happening at the rec centre in the back hallway and west entrance doors, and work will be occurring during the event.

“While all of the renovation work will not be completed prior to this year’s Creative Chaos, we will be displaying some additional signage and attendees will be able to find their way to all of the fantastic vendors during the event,” director of recreation services Doug Ross says in a release.

Creative Chaos attendees will be able to access the facility on the west side through other entrances into the Dogwood Gym and the auditorium. Attendees can also access vendor booths, the food court and the children’s interactive craft area through the newly renovated front entrance and lobby.

HOURS:

Friday June 3: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday June 4: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday June 5: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
