Updated: Crash sends at least one person to hospital on Trans-Canada Highway near Kamloops

At least one person was sent to the hospital this morning after a crash occurred along the Trans Canada Highway.

Nathan Ritchie, a witness on scene, said he saw one person was loaded into the back of an ambulance and traffic was delayed due to the accident.

The incident happened at around 11:40 a.m. at the Trans Canada Highway, Oriole Road intersection.

Injuries were non-life threatening, said Cpl. Mike Halskov, media relations officer with the RCMP Traffic Services.
