Eight people were transported to hospital yesterday, one in critical condition, after a three-vehicle crash on the RW Bruhn Bridge in Sicamous.

B.C. Emergency Services say they received a call at 5:44 p.m. yesterday, July 29, about the incident west of Sicamous.

Five ambulances and an air ambulance responded to the crash.

One person was flown to hospital by air ambulance, while the remaining seven were transported to hospital in stable condition.

The bridge is currently open, but the speed limit has been dropped to 30 km/h says DriveBC.
