KAMLOOPS - To some it is the moment that defines the Christmas countdown — just over a week to the big day — and to others it is simply a wonderful way to celebrate the season.
Either way, today you can see the CP Holiday Train roll through the region, listen to some live music, and help out local food banks.
The Holiday Train will arrive in Chase at 2:50 p.m. today, Dec. 17, and then will be in Kamloops by 5:05 p.m. In Chase, the train will stop across from the RCMP building while in Kamloops the lot on the north side of the Sandman Centre will be party central.
After Kamloops the train will head out to Savona for a 7:15 p.m. show before arriving in Ashcroft at 8:50 p.m.
Aside from getting to see the train fully decked out in lights, Jim Cuddy, along with Devin Cuddy and Kelly Prescott will perform at each of the stops. Each stop will collect food and money for local food banks.
