A look at COVID-19 vaccinations in Canada on Wednesday, June 2, 2021

The latest numbers on COVID-19 vaccinations in Canada as of 4:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

In Canada, the provinces are reporting 307,826 new vaccinations administered for a total of 24,169,193 doses given. Nationwide, 2,161,428 people or 5.7 per cent of the population has been fully vaccinated. The provinces have administered doses at a rate of 63,772.174 per 100,000.

There were 1,705,978 new vaccines delivered to the provinces and territories for a total of 27,728,192 doses delivered so far. The provinces and territories have used 87.16 per cent of their available vaccine supply.

Please note that Newfoundland and Labrador, P.E.I., Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the territories typically do not report on a daily basis.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 33,312 new vaccinations administered over the past seven days for a total of 308,252 doses given. The province has administered doses at a rate of 588.682 per 1,000. In the province, 2.24 per cent (11,737) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were zero new vaccines delivered to Newfoundland and Labrador for a total of 358,370 doses delivered so far. The province has received enough of the vaccine to give 68 per cent of its population a single dose. The province has used 86.02 per cent of its available vaccine supply.

P.E.I. is reporting 9,605 new vaccinations administered over the past seven days for a total of 93,346 doses given. The province has administered doses at a rate of 588.455 per 1,000. In the province, 8.47 per cent (13,441) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 100 new vaccines delivered to P.E.I. for a total of 105,695 doses delivered so far. Quebec is reporting 65,917 new vaccinations administered for a total of 5,648,992 doses given. The province has administered doses at a rate of 660.187 per 1,000. There were 490,208 new vaccines delivered to Quebec for a total of 6,377,327 doses delivered so far. The province has received enough of the vaccine to give 75 per cent of its population a single dose. The province has used 88.58 per cent of its available vaccine supply.

Ontario is reporting 120,195 new vaccinations administered for a total of 9,202,220 doses given. The province has administered doses at a rate of 626.467 per 1,000. In the province, 5.04 per cent (739,722) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 934,210 new vaccines delivered to Ontario for a total of 11,009,725 doses delivered so far. In the province, 3.73 per cent (191,222) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 242,190 new vaccines delivered to British Columbia for a total of 3,772,320 doses delivered so far. The province has received enough of the vaccine to give 74 per cent of its population a single dose. The province has used 87.57 per cent of its available vaccine supply.

Yukon is reporting zero new vaccinations administered for a total of 52,913 doses given. The territory has administered doses at a rate of 1,267.954 per 1,000. In the territory, 59.76 per cent (24,937) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 7,500 new vaccines delivered to Yukon for a total of 64,520 doses delivered so far. The territory has received enough of the vaccine to give 150 per cent of its population a single dose. The territory has used 82.01 per cent of its available vaccine supply.

The Northwest Territories are reporting zero new vaccinations administered for a total of 53,501 doses given. The territory has administered doses at a rate of 1,185.775 per 1,000. In the territory, 53.02 per cent (23,922) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 12,870 new vaccines delivered to the Northwest Territories for a total of 76,380 doses delivered so far. The territory has received enough of the vaccine to give 170 per cent of its population a single dose. The territory has used 70.05 per cent of its available vaccine supply.

Nunavut is reporting 1,039 new vaccinations administered for a total of 32,196 doses given. The territory has administered doses at a rate of 831.379 per 1,000. In the territory, 38.60 per cent (14,949) of the population has been fully vaccinated. There were 6,000 new vaccines delivered to Nunavut for a total of 51,100 doses delivered so far. The territory has received enough of the vaccine to give 130 per cent of its population a single dose. The territory has used 63.01 per cent of its available vaccine supply.
