VERNON - A man accused of trafficking heroin laced with fentanyl and methylfentanyl won’t have the remainder of his case heard in Vernon, where the offence allegedly took place.

Kelly Mitchell Hanson Loeppky, born in 1978, has had his case moved to Revelstoke.

Loeppky faces three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking dated Feb. 12, 2016 in Vernon.

According to court records, Loeppky was first charged Feb. 13, 2016 but his charges were revised March 7. He appeared in Revelstoke Court Wednesday, May 3.

According to the most recent documents, Loeppky is charged with trafficking a mixture of heroin, fentanyl and methylfentanyl, which is similar to fentanyl.

It’s unclear why the case was moved to Revelstoke. Court records indicate Loeppky is next due to appear in Revelstoke Law Courts June 7 to enter a guilty plea.
