May is following the same pattern as April in terms of being a cool month.
Normal high temperatures for today, May 12, are 21 Celsius in Kamloops and 19 C in the Okanagan.
The Environment Canada online forecast calls for highs of only 18 C in Kamloops today and about the same through the weekend.
For the Okanagan, it’s forecast to only get to 16 C today.
A more seasonal high is forecast for both regions for Monday but temperatures show a drop of a couple of degrees after that.
Overnight lows are also below normal for the next couple of days, forecast to dip to 2 C in the Okanagan on Saturday morning and 3 C in Kamloops. Both regions return to more normal lows after that.
