PENTICTON - The third annual Penticton Harvest Event takes place at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre this weekend.
The two day event, Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., features Armstrong-based business Rancho Vignola, a family owned and operated operation specializing in nuts and freshly harvested dried fruit.
The Penticton Harvest Event is free to attend. Among the direct-to-consumer items available are unique Christmas gifts and stock for your kitchen and freezers. Admission and parking is also free.
On Saturday, the Penticton Vees take on the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The doors open at the South Okanagan Events Centre at 5 p.m. for a 6 p.m. start. Children 12 and under are free, as are students 13 to 18. Adult tickets are $13 and $11 for seniors.
Tickets are available at Valley First Box Office at the events centre and at the Wine Country Visitor Centre. Tickets can also be purchase online at ValleyFirstTix.com or over the phone at 1-877-763-2849
The Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra holds its fall concert on Sunday at the Cleland Theatre.
