Clouds tomorrow before sunny days return to Kamloops

A cold front bringing a drop in temperatures will cloud the skies in Kamloops tomorrow, but it's not expected to linger, as the rest of the week is forecast to be sunny and warm, with temperatures in the low 30s.

KAMLOOPS - Summer will take a foothold in Kamloops as the second week of July gets underway.

Environment Canada says Kamloops can expect almost a full week of solid sunshine and higher than normal temperatures. The exception is a 30 per cent chance of showers forecast for tomorrow, which is also the only day of the week the high will be less than 30 Celsius.

Today, July 9, expect a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 31C. Clouds will roll in this evening with a 40 per cent chance of showers overnight and rain beginning before morning and a low of 16 C.

The rain should end by tomorrow morning, making way for a mainly cloudy day with a high of 23 C. Skies are expected to clear overnight with a low down to 13 C.

The rest of the week is forecast to be sunny with highs around 32 C.

Normal temperatures in Kamloops at this time of year are highs of 28 C and lows of 14 C.
