KAMLOOPS - The B.C. Coroners Service has identified the man who died after his vehicle collided with a semi on Highway 5 last weekend.
He was Antonino George (Tony) Cuthbert, 48, of Clearwater.
The collision occurred 48 kilometres north of Kamloops, near McLure around 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17. Investigators said Cuthbert lost control of his Chevrolet Lumina on a slushy section of the road and crossed the centre line before colliding with a tractor trailer.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service continue to investigate the death.
