A classic truck with a distinct paint job was stolen from an underground parking area Sunday morning.

The 1969 Chevy pickup truck was parked beneath an apartment building on the 700 block of Glenmore Road. Video cameras recorded a newer white Ford F350 with a U-Haul trailer used to tow the vintage truck away around 7:30 a.m.

The '69 Chevy is yellow with black accents and a large air intake protruding from the hood. The engine compartment has some unique features including Jeg's stickers, skull and crossbones stickers and the phrase, "Injection's Nice But I'd Rather Be Blown" written above the radiator. There are metallic flames in the grill.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at crimestoppers.net or text to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
