KAMLOOPS – After 32 years in business CJ’s Nightclub in Kamloops will close next month.
A post on the nightclub's Facebook page says the last show will be on March 3.
"CJ's Nightclub will be closing its doors for the foreseeable future with our final show being Saturday, March 3," the post reads. "Come on down on March 3 and say goodbye to a Kamloops institution. CJ’s Nightclub thanks you all for the music and the memories."
Drew McLean of Kammerce Productions says he is in talks with the nightclub to come up with a plan so a scheduled April 30 show featuring I Mother Earth and Finger Eleven can go off without any issues.
Last month, it was reported the building was up for sale. According to the realtor representing the building's owner it has not yet sold.
