KAMLOOPS — With spring finally here, the City of Kamloops's street sweeping crews have already begun sweeping away debris throughout the city.

Over the next month or two, crews will be working throughout various neighbourhoods. Work has already begun on the North Shore and will continue into Brocklehurst and Westsyde for the next few weeks.

Other neighbourhoods are expected to be swept through April, the city says.

The city will post signs in areas that are being worked on, according to the city's website.

When these signs are up, residents are encouraged to remove vehicles, basketball hoops, and other items that may obstruct street sweepers from cleaning roads thoroughly.
