Christmas movie begins filming in Kelowna

CENTRAL OKANAGAN - A Christmas movie will begin filming in Kelowna this week.

Seasons Greetings, an eOne movie of the weeks starts filming in Kelowna on Thursday, Sept. 8, according to a press release from Okanagan film commissioner Jon Summerland.

He said the production adds to several others currently underway in the Okanagan.

Seasons Greetings is produced in partnernship with Absolute Independence. The original Christmas movie will be airing on UP TV this December.

eOne began as a Canadian record and tape retailer and has grown to become a producer and distributor for film, television and music.

The company says it has 40,000 film and and television titles, 4,500 hours of TV programming and another 45,000 music tracks.
