However, Environment Canada says to expect double digit minus temperatures by mid-week before things start to warm up again by the weekend.

Today, Dec. 3, it will be mainly cloudy with a high of -3 Celsius and a low of -5 C tonight.

Cloudy conditions will prevail tomorrow morning before clearing around noon, with a high of -2 C, but afternoon temperatures will feel like -8 C with the wind chill. Tomorrow’s overnight low will be -8 C.

Wednesday and Thursday the skies will clear, but it will be cold, with daytime highs of -5 C Wednesday and -6 C Thursday.

Overnight lows will be very chilly with a low of -12 C overnight Wednesday and a low of -13 C for Thursday night.

Temperatures will begin moderating on Friday under sunny skies, with a high of -6 C and a low of -7 C.

Daytime highs should reach the 0 C mark by Sunday, under cloudy skies.

Normal temperatures at this time of year in the Okanagan are highs of about 0 C and lows of around -6 C.
