CHASE - The Village of Chase is looking for some votes to pay for a new skateboard park.

The town is up against three other towns vying for $250,000 towards a sports project. In Chase the money would go towards a brand new skatepark, an idea that the town has been working towards for over a decade, according to a press release.

The skatepark project is part of Project Play from Kraft and Heinz. The other three projects Chase is competing against include a track and field club in Mount Pearl, Nfld., baseball fields in Kenora, Ont. and a ski track in Cantley, Que.

Voting only lasts for two days and is already underway. You have until 9 p.m. tomorrow, July 26, to go online and cast your ballot.
