A B.C. man has caught some amazing footage giving viewers a real birds-eye view of what it's like to be a bald eagle.

Jimmy Utah posted the video on Facebook yesterday, July 16, and says in his post the footage was captured on his GoPro camera, six weeks after he lost the camera "to an eagle."

The footage, which says it has been filmed on Haida Gwaii, shows a group of bald eagles swooping in on what looks like offal dumped on a beach.

While iNFOnews.ca couldn't independently verify the 'eagle stole my GoPro story' there's no denying the footage is spectacular.
