CHASE – After about a hundred road checks this month, RCMP found no impaired drivers in the Chase area.
As part of the CounterAttack initiative, police and traffic services across B.C.'s Interior have been cracking down on impaired driving.
Approximately 100 vehicles have been checked in the Chase area, and police found only minor infractions, Sgt. Gary Heebner says in a media release.
Heebner says two violation tickets were given under the Motor Vehicle Act, with no impaired driving violations issued.
