PENTICTON - A police investigation is underway following a stabbing incident yesterday.
Penticton RCMP were called to a private residence where they found a man suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound.
Charges of aggravated assault are being recommended against a woman believed to have committed the stabbing.
The man and woman were known to each other, says RCMP spokesperson Const. James Grandy in a press release issued today, Oct. 29.
“There’s no threat to public safety as this wasn’t a random act, but rather between two parties who were well known to each other,” Grandy says.
