Kelowna RCMP have a man in custody who is charged with manslaughter after an altercation outside a nightclub last summer.
Matthew Reimer is accused of killing Chilliwack man Nicholas Epp on Aug. 12, 2022, according to Kelowna RCMP.
Epp was found injured on the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue around 11 p.m. Police witnessed the altercation and his assailant fled the scene.
Paramedics took Epp to Kelowna General Hospital, where he died shortly after.

Reimer is charged with manslaughter and police say he's been arrested. He is expected to appear in court within 24 hours of his arrest, according to the news release.
Police have referred to the incident that killed Epp as an "altercation" and have not explained what kind of injuries he sustained.
"The investigation remains ongoing and before the courts, therefore, no additional information will be released at this time," the Kelowna RCMP news release reads.
