OTTAWA - The Canadian Real Estate Association says December's home sales were down 1.8 per cent from the previous month, the third decline in a row.
Compared with December 2012, however, last month's sales were up 12.9 per cent and the average sales price was up 10.4 per cent.
The national average sales price in December was $389,119.
For the full year, there were 457,893 homes sold through the MLS system, up eight-tenths of a per cent from 2012.
