Car hits Bed Bath and Beyond in Kamloops

Police are investigating after a car drove through the front doors of the Bed Bath and Beyond located in the Sahali area of Kamloops on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

KAMLOOPS - It's yet another case of a car hitting a building in Kamloops.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release that officers responded to a commercial alarm at Bed Bath and Beyond in Sahali at approximately 5:20 a.m. today, March 27.

The front doors to the business were damaged when a vehicle driving through them, but no entry was gained through a second set of doors, Shelkie says.

Surveillance footage shows a light-coloured Chevrolet Cruze driving through the doors. The driver isn't shown clearly, but he appears to be Caucasian.

If you saw this crash or have any information, call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
