JEREZ, Spain - Mercedes has included a message of support for its former driver Michael Schumacher on the side of its new Formula One car, which was unveiled on Tuesday.

Drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg revealed Mercedes' silver-and-turquoise W05, which has the Twitter hashtag #KeepFightingMichael written on the upper part of its chassis just behind the driver's seat.

Schumacher suffered severe head injuries in a skiing accident on Dec. 29 and has been in a coma since. He remains in a stable condition.

Rosberg was Schumacher's teammate for three seasons before the seven-time world champion retired from F1 for a second time at the end of 2012.

Mercedes presented its car at the Jerez track in southern Spain where preseason testing begins on Tuesday.
