Canada Day hours of operation at civic properties

KELOWNA - To mark Canada Day, City Hall will be closed Tuesday, July 1.     

City of Kelowna property taxes are due on Wednesday, July 2. Payments can be made by online or telephone banking, by mail and in person at City Hall (1435 Water St., Kelowna B.C. V1Y 1J4), and at deposit boxes located at the Water Street entrance to City Hall, Doyle Avenue parking lot exit and at the Parkinson Recreation Centre.

The Glenmore Landfill will be open its regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and the Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In celebration of Canada Day, there are more that 50 activities and performances sure to entertain festival goers all day long, including the annual Folk Fest, Taste of Canada, POPS Orchestra Canada Day Spectacular, Kids Zone and evening Fireworks. Check out for details.
