Lotto tickets were among thousands of dollars worth of goods stolen from an Aberdeen business in Kamloops early this morning.

RCMP officers responded to a break-and-enter call on the 1400-block of Hugh Allan Drive around 12:50 a.m. today, Feb. 8, according to an RCMP press release.

When officers arrived they found a glass door was broken and merchandise, including lottery tickets, had been stolen.

It was reported to police that two suspects in dark clothing left the scene in a newer Cadillac SUV driving eastbound.

Anyone who witnessed the event, has video surveillance or relevant information is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2022-4096.
