KAMLOOPS - RCMP are trying to identify a man who attacked a city bylaw officer last night in Kamloops.

A female officer was investigating a male who was spray painting the back of the Memorial Arena on Victoria Street around 8:30 p.m., June 28. The suspect is described as Caucasian in his early 20s, 6’ tall with a thin build. He has blonde streaks in his hair and was wearing green and white swim shorts and had a black backpack and brown skateboard with him at the time.

Items left behind by the suspect have been seized by police and they continue to investigate the assault.
