Business for the Arts announces launch of artsVestTM program in the Central Okanagan

Business for the Arts, Canada’s national association of business leaders who support the arts, is pleased to announce the launch of artsVestTM in the Central Okanagan.

WHEN: Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

WHAT: artsVestTM is a Business for the Arts matching incentive and sponsorship training program designed to spark new business sponsorship of arts and culture, and will operate in Kelowna and the Central Okanagan from 2013-2014. Arts and culture organizations will receive in-depth sponsorship training and will be invited to apply for a total of $106,000 in matching incentive grants, which they will have six months to match with new sponsorships from local businesses. The program will be delivered in the Central Okanagan in partnership with Canadian Heritage, the Province of B.C., the City of Kelowna and TELUS.
