PENTICTON - A brother and sister accused of murder are now facing identical charges.
Lawyers for Grace and Pier Robotti were in Penticton court this afternoon, Sept. 3, where prior charges against Pier Robotti were officially dropped. He was originally charged with interference with a dead body and accessory after the fact to murder in the Jan. 5, 2015 death of 26-year-old Roxanne Louie.
Now both Pier and Grace will face a second degree murder charge under the same indictment.
Roxanne Louis’ body was found north of Naramata days after her disappearance was reported by Grace Robotti on Jan. 4.
Grace, 63, and Pier Robotti, 62, are due back in court Sept. 21 to fix a date for a preliminary hearing which is expected to last two weeks.
