SALMON ARM - A semi truck swerved to avoid hazards on the Trans Canada Highway near Salmon Arm and was struck by an oncoming vehicle on the weekend.
RCMP say a semi truck was heading eastbound in the Kault Hill area on Saturday, Nov. 19, and in order to avoid boulders that had fallen from a rock bluff, the driver swerved, spun around and was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The semi driver was uninjured and the driver of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries, according to a RCMP media release.
RCMP are still investigating the collision.
