KELOWNA - The boil water notice in southeast Kelowna was rescinded today after a series of drinking water tests showed positive results.

According to a City of Kelowna press release, the boil water notice in the Crawford neighbourhood, affecting roughly 250 residents, was lifted on March 28.

The notice was issued on March 25 when a construction mishap resulted in a water main break. The break has been repaired and clean water is flowing to residents again.

Customers are encouraged to flush their water lines for three to five minutes, or until the water runs clear, before use.

You can submit an online request to the City here if the water does not run clear.
