RCMP said Tarbet was last seen leaving his West Kelowna home at 5 a.m. on July 17.

His Ford Explorer was believed to be in the area of Bear Creek and police canvassed the area.

The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death.
