A grieving Kamloops father took to social media to identify the two men whose bodies were found along a forest service road south of Penticton earlier this week.

Gordon Fryer said in a post to his Facebook page: “With great sadness I need to let friends and family know of the sudden passing of both Carlo Fryer and Erick Fryer, please no questions, just sent positive thoughts and prayers.”

Shortly after 10 a.m., May 10, RCMP were called to a remote location along the Naramata Creek Forest Service Road after a couple who were hiking in the area discovered two bodies.

RCMP have released few details as investigators await the results of autopsies on the two victims scheduled for tomorrow, May 14.

A GoFundMe page has been started to help out Carlo Fryer’s family, which has raised $4,765 in a few hours.

Carlo had a daughter and wife, according to the GoFundMe.
