KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Blazers will be attending some upcoming community events as some players arrive back to the River City this weekend.

Thursday, Aug. 13, 18-year-old forward Nick Chyzowski and Mascot Digger will be at the Aberdeen Dairy Queen for DQ Miracle Treat Day from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Kamloops Blazers Hockey School begins on Monday, Aug. 17, and runs until Friday, Aug. 21. The player instructors include Ryan Rehill, Matt Revel, Deven Sideroff, Connor Ingram, Dawson Davidson, Matthew Campese, Nick Chyzowski and Nolan Kneen.

On Thursday, Aug. 20, the hockey club will be participating in a bocce ball tournament with residents at Berwick on the Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Finally, on Tuesday, Aug. 25, players will be at Riverside Park from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Moonlight Movie Tour in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kamloops.
