Blaze consumes four-car garage in Kelowna

KELOWNA - A Kelowna fire destroyed a four-car garage early this morning despite the best efforts of responders.

According to a press release, Kelowna Fire Dispatch received multiple calls at 8:57 a.m. today, March 25, reporting a fire at the 3200 block of Hall Road.

The first arriving crews saw smoke and flames billowing out of a four-car garage with three vehicles inside. A large single-family house and a barn were nearby.

Crews battled the flames and kept them from inflicting significant damage on the house and barn. They couldn't save the garage.

All occupants and their pets escaped with no injuries. Fire investigators were at the scene, although the blaze is not considered suspicious at this time.
