Winnipeg, MB —The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s basketball team is still looking for their first victory of the young Canada West season. The WolfPack kicked off their first road trip of the year falling to the Manitoba Bisons 90-68 Friday night (Nov 11) in Winnipeg.
SYNOPSIS
The WolfPack led by five 20-15 after the first quarter and were down 38-36 at the half. They were outscored 28-8 in the fourth quarter. Manitoba moved to 2-1 on the year while the ‘Pack are winless in three. TRU was led by Luke Morris (4th year, forward, Mission, BC) who had 19 points. Manitoba had five players in double figures led by Keith Omoerah who had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists.

“We really didn’t respond to their increased defensive pressure in the fourth quarter,” TRU head coach Scott Clark says.
UP NEXT:
The WolfPack and Bisons Thunderbirds will wind up their weekend series Saturday (Nov12). Next weekend, Thompson Rivers will pay a visit to Edmonton, Alberta for two games against the Golden Bears.
Their next home game will be Friday, November 25th on the Warner Rentals Court at the Tournament Capital Centre. Tip off will be 8 pm against the UBCO Heat. The pre-game show will be on the air around 7:45 pm.
It will be their last home stand before the Christmas break.
