BIG WHITE - Ski and snowboard-enthusiasts are likely to see good conditions at Big White today, after the resort saw over 40 cm of snow in the past 24 hours — and it's still snowing.

Big White Ski Resort is saying in the past 24 hours they have received 43 cm of snow, bringing the total to 77 cm over the past week, according to the daily snow report.

Mason Buettner, with the ski resort's communication team, says conditions are ideal for snow sports.

"Today is the perfect example where you get a lot off snowfall over night," Buettner says in a phone interview. "The sky is clear in the morning; you get that great visibility... kinda the best of both words."

Buettner says though skies have clouded over since this morning, it has also started snowing again; imparting fresh powder for skiers to enjoy.
