Best Kamloops sledding hills and outdoor skating rinks

Now that snow has finally hit the ground around Kamloops, it’s time to dig out those snow pants and start zipping down some of the slopes across the city.

We have compiled a map of some local favourite hills. In our interactive map, you’ll find everything from easy slopes to steeper hills all across Kamloops. 

Make sure to follow proper signage in the area and stay safe out there.

  • Greenstone Park at 245 Pemberton Terrace
  • Westsyde Centennial Park at 705 Franklin Rd.
  • Pacific Way Elementary School at 2330 Pacific Way
  • Albert McGowan Park at 2025 Summit Dr.
  • Beattie Elementary School at 492 McGill Rd.
  • Prince Charles Park at 1198 Columbia St.
  • Singh Bowl Park at 1008-1052 Singh St.
  • Saddleback Park at 2110 Grasslands Blvd.
  • Harper Mountain - Approximately 30 kilometres outside of Kamloops, for directions go here. 
  • South Sa-Hali Elementary School at 1585 Summit Dr.
  • Juniper Ridge Elementary School at 2540 Qu'Appelle Blvd.
  • McArthur Island Park at 1655 Island Parkway
  • Rayleigh - You'll find sledding in Rayleigh across the Yellowhead Highway from the Petro-Canada gas station.
