Beehives taken from Okanagan Falls orchard

PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP report an Okanagan Falls beekeeper is missing some hives.

RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says 20 beehives taken from a orchard property near the Old Mill property yesterdaym, May 8.

The beehives were taken from a collection of 120 hives being used for orchard pollination.

A forklift is necessary to lift the hives, which are branded with the letters MCW.

Anyone with information regarding the missing hives is asked to contact Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
