KAMLOOPS - Waiting for the bus could be more tolerable for those who use the public transit system in Kamloops.
Bus riders will now have the opportunity to check the location of their bus while it's moving along its route in the city.
B.C. Transit will be launching the NextRide technology tomorrow, Aug. 21, along with officials from the provincial and federal government.
The technology, which can be used with a web browser or a smartphone, will also show predicted arrival times, according to a B.C. Transit media release.
The public is also invited to take a bus ride to demo the new technology, B.C. Transit says.
For those interested, head to the Lansdowne Transit Exchange at 650 Lansdowne St. at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
