Today, Feb. 4, the Vancouver Police announced that a 34-year-old suspect from Chilliwack turned himself into the VPD Hate Crimes investigators on Feb. 2. He was arrested for his role in the the incident that went viral, as well as for an unrelated firearms offence.

However charges have not been formally laid so the man cannot be identified.
