PENTICTON - The discovery of a dead woman early Friday morning at Jubilee Motel prompted a B.C. Coroners Service investigation.
Spokesperson Barb McLintock said the investigation has just begun and the service has no new details to disclose.
A small memorial was set up for the woman in a fountain in the motel's courtyard. The words, "You will be in our hearts forever & always Kimmie," was written on a memorial jar.
A motel neighbour said the woman named Kimmie was staying in room 24.
