VERNON - The Barenaked Ladies are in town, and they like their java.

In Vernon tonight, Nov. 9, for a sold out show at the Performing Arts Centre, some band members, like lead singer Ed Robertson, explored the city during the daytime.

Robertson surprised Ratio Coffee & Pastry owner Andrew McWilliam with a visit.

“It’s a good day when you get to make Ed from Barenaked Ladies coffee,” McWilliam posted on Instagram.

Fuelled up on locally-brewed coffee, Robertson should be full of energy for tonight's show.

The Barenaked Ladies head to Kamloops next to play a sold out show at the Sagebrush Theatre.

It’s a good day when you get to make Ed from @barenakedladiesmusic Coffee!
