WASHINGTON - Canada's foreign affairs minister is across the street from the White House today, explaining why he wants a quick decision on the Keystone XL pipeline.
John Baird is using a speech to a business audience, saying the Obama administration needs to decide soon.
He's elaborating on a message he delivered yesterday on Capitol Hill - where he said decision time is here.
Baird tells the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that the construction season is approaching and can't be wasted.
He says he's not telling the U.S. government what to do — only to do things quickly.
Baird says the situation cannot remain in limbo.
