Autumn in Kamloops starts with seasonally normal temperatures

KAMLOOPS - It looks like the chilly weather will stay at bay for a little while longer.

Fall begins in Kamloops today, Sept. 22, and brings high temperatures on par with the seasonal average of 20 Celsius.

Environment Canada is forecasting a warm weekend for the city with plenty of sun.

After some clouds this monring, it will be mainly sunny today with a high of 21 C. It will be partly cloudy overnight with the low down to 8 C.

Mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers tomorrow with a high of 16 C. The chance of rain drops to 30 per cent overnight with a low of 5 C.

Plan for the sun to make a comeback on Saturday. The forcast calls for sunshine and a high of 19 C and an overnight low of 8 C.

The sun will stick around Sunday, with a high of 21 C. It's likely that clouds will appear in the afternoon. The overnight will drop to 7 C.

Look for sunshine and warm temperatures to start next week, with Monday's high expected to hit 25 C.
