Vernon RCMP are trying to find the owner of an urn found in a local park.
The urn was found in Linear Park on 25 Avenue and turned into the police by a member of the public in April, according to an RCMP press release issued today, May 6.
Vernon RCMP said the urn contains ashes. Police don't say if the ashes are human remains.
If the urn is yours and you can prove ownership contact Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file 2024-5031.
